Hi, Im 18 and have had a blood clot'for almost 2years. My clot goes from my left ankle to my belly button. Tonight I though it would be nice to have a hot bath about 5minutes into it I started getting a fare bit of pain I have been out for about an hour or two and the pain hasent gone away should I be concerned? Does anyone have hot baths with a blood clot??? 15283

Hi rachael my clot is the exact same place as you and I have several hot baths a week. I've had my DVT five mths now and have been told by a gp that the clot will be stable by now so baths, jacuzzis etc should be fine. Worth getting checked out for peace of mind though - I had more pain than usual last month so went to hospital and was given another ultrasound which confirmed that although the clot hasn't shrunk it hasn't got any bigger either. 15343
