I stopped taking warfarin the 25th of september. Was supposed to get my period the 7th of october, but so far nothing and its normally very regular. Anyone has similar experience after stopping with warfarin? (2 negative pregnancy tests) 13697

Interesting. I stopped taking warfarin just before my period 2 weeks ago- it was definitely longer, not so much heavier but very different- with a slow start and slow end. Anyone know anything about getting pregnant after you have had multiple pulmonary emboli?? 13785

I was forced to discontinue the pill when diagnosed with a huge dvt in my right leg and bilateral pe's. I have had a mirena iud since being taken off the pill. I haven't had any period to speak of, AT ALL, since being fitted with the mirena (A week later) while on warfarin for the clots. I have just been cleared to discontinue the warfarin, and what do you know...my first real period in almost a year. It felt surprisingly good, almost like my body is back to normal. 15348

Starting with my first period after I went on Warfarin, they changed noticably. They became heavier for the first 18-24 hours ... and that was it, they stopped. It's wonderful going from a 5-day period down to a 2 day period!! And in addition to that, my December period was about 10 days late. I'm usually very regular so that was unusual for me. But even when that one finally started, it only lasted 18-24 hours like all the rest. I didn't think being late was a symptom of Warfarin, but from what I've read more recently, it could be. 15358
